Roca Lisboa Gallery Opens Artistic Exhibition at the Launch of Lisbon Design Week 2026

Exhibition “The Beauty in Everyday Rituals” showcases the key trends shaping the world of bathroom design

Roca Portugal is once again partnering with Lisbon Design Week as an official sponsor, reinforcing its commitment to promoting design, creativity, and contemporary culture in Portugal. The fourth edition of Lisbon Design Week will take place from May 27 to 31, 2026, bringing together more than 150 creators across over 80 venues throughout the city of Lisbon.

As part of this partnership, Roca Lisboa Gallery will host the exhibition “The Beauty in Everyday Rituals”, on display from May 27 to August 30, with free admission. Created by textile artist Teresa Nunes, the exhibition invites visitors to reflect on bathing as an intimate and sensory ritual, connecting it with water culture, personal care, and the experience of living spaces.

The exhibition creates a dialogue between space, material, light, and color. Through textile pieces made from linen and cotton, a visual narrative unfolds across the gallery’s different floors. On the first floor, warm earthy tones prevail, inspired by the urban landscape and traditional clay vessels associated with water. On the second floor, visitors experience an ethereal atmosphere with aqua-green tones, linked to the sensory dimension of bathing and the connection with nature.

As a complement to the exhibition, Roca Lisboa Gallery will host two guided tours open to the public, led by artist Teresa Nunes, scheduled for May 28 at 4:30 PM and May 29 at 12:00 PM.
